Project Green Hour Classroom Partnership
Pre-K
Project Green Hour combines Oglebay Institute’s strong commitment to environmental education and active learning with providing pre-school aged children with developmentally appropriate education.

Project Green Hour provides teachers with pre-lesson plans that encourage an hour of outdoor science exploration per week. It continues with a field trip to the Schrader Center for the children, their teachers and families.

A final component is equipping partners with portable science stations for observation of animals in their classroom and additional lesson plans for extending learning about the natural environment. Click here for more information.
