Summer Day Camps: School of Dance
From tumbling and tap to ballet and jazz, summer dance camps give children an opportunity to learn a variety of dance techniques and principles of dance and express their creativity through movement and music. Special guest artist camps allow dancers to train with internationally renowned artists. Camps are fun, challenging and age appropriate.

A trained adult staff of professional educators with extensive experience working with children and teaching about art lead all camp activities. Staff members are trained in First Aid and CPR.

Charlie Brown Camp	Grades 1-8	Session 1: June 14 - 18 Session 2: July 19 - 23	$120/ $100 OI members (plus $10 for T-Shirt)	9am - 3pm	Camp will meet at Stifel Fine Arts Center. Friday show will be performed at Towngate Theatre. For those interested in musical theatre. Cheryl Pompeo & Tim Thompson, instructors. (limit 25)
Angelina Ballerina	3 - 4	June 21 - 25	$50/$40 OI members	9:30 - 11am	Explore movement and creative expression through classical Angelina Ballerina storytelling and adventures. Parents may observe on Friday. Cheryl Pompeo, instructor.
Kaleidoscope of Dance	4 - entering Kinder-garten	June 21 - 25	$45/$35 OI members	11:15am - 12:15pm	Introduction to ballet, tumbling and tap. Cheryl Pompeo, instructor.
Pointe Camp	11 & up	June 21 - 25	$45/$35 OI members	12:30 - 1:30pm	New pointe students and beginning pointe students will work on technique, strength and barre. Must have at least 3 years ballet experience. Cheryl Pompeo, instructor.
Cheering Camp	grades K & up	June 28 - July 2	$45/$35 OI members	9-10am (for grades K-3) 10-11am (for grades 4-6) 11am-noon (for grades 7 & up)	Learn from Megan Stevens, award-winning OVAC coach. All students will be required to attend Friday, July 2 from 9am-noon. A cheering showcase will begin at 11am. Participants should wear shorts, t-shirts, tennis shoes, and bring a bottle of water.
Colorful Cultures of Dance	Grades 1-4	July 12 - 16	$45/$35 OI members	12:30 - 1:30pm	Learn dance steps and techniques from various countries and cultures. Cheryl Pompeo, instructor.
