Learn all of the tree’s life cycle stages from seed to rotten log. Gain an understanding of the important roles trees play in the forest and for humans. Find seeds and “taste” tree “food” on the trail. |

Get up close and personal with different species of “macro invertebrates” from our local stream. Use your eyes to “spy them” under a microscope. |

Learn the names of common birds in your yard. Hike out with binoculars and see how many you can see. Find out how bird parents take care of their young and make a bird nest starter kit. |
