Etched Metal Jewelry Making Workshop

Create your own etched metal pieces of jewelry Saturday, April 29 at the Stifel Fine Arts Center’s jewelry making workshop.

Instructor Sandi Ziolkowski will lead you in drawing your own design to etch onto copper blanks, or cut your own shapes. You’ll make up to three pairs of earrings and a pendant to match. No experience is necessary. All tools and materials will be provided.

Workshop meets noon-4pm Saturday, April 29. Open to ages 14 & up.

About the instructor:

Sandi Ziolkowski is well-know in the Wheeling area for her handmade artisan jewelry and pottery, which she creates in her home studio – Sandi’s Studio Workz. She specializes in Precious Metal Clay (PMC) and shares her knowledge of metalsmiting techniques, designing, setting stones, finishes and more through classes and workshop at Oglebay Institute’s Stifel Fine Arts Center.
