Flippin' For Fun(ds): From Flea Market to Fabulous

The Mansion Museum puts its own spin on HGTV’s hit show “Flea Market Flip” from 1 – 4 p.m. Sunday, September 24 as re-purposed items are on display and up for grabs as part of the Flippin’ For Fun(ds) event.

For weeks, volunteer “flippers” have been using their sense of style, knack for reinvention and some elbow grease to transform flea market finds into fabulous pieces to be used and enjoyed.

Come out and view the amazing creations at the Mansion Museum.  While you’re there, you can purchase a piece to take home. Or simply look and marvel. You’ll get design inspiration for your own projects, too.  See the work of the creative and giving shop owners, artists, designers and do-it-yourselfers that make our community unique.  And, you’ll be supporting a great cause.  Proceeds support history and heritage programs at the Museums of Oglebay Institute.

From Minimalist Design and Polished Industrial to Boho Chic and Mixology Projects, items represent a variety of design styles.

Admission to the event is free. You can vote for “Fan Favorite” and “Best Interpretation of a Design Category,” too.  Ballots cost $1 each.
