Youth Auditions for Moscow Ballet’s Great Russian Nutcracker

Youth auditions for Moscow Ballet’s Great Russian Nutcracker will take place 12:30pm Saturday, August 17 at Oglebay Institute’s School of Dance.

The School of Dance is a proud host studio for auditions for Moscow Ballet’s Great Russian Nutcracker, to be performed 7pm Thursday, November 7 at the Capitol Theatre in Wheeling.

Auditions will begin promptly at 12:30pm Saturday, August 17 at the School of Dance and are open to all area dancers ages 6-18. Registration beings at 11:30am for those who have not pre-registerd online.

If cast, dancers must be available August 17-19 to learn the choreography.

Please complete the required participation form here. Choose Wheeling, WV as the performance city. There is a $50 fee if cast.

Accompanying Ballet Workshop

OI’s School of Dance is also privileged to offer an hour-long workshop with Moscow Ballet soloist and auditions director Alisa Bolotnikova Saturday, August 17 before auditions.

This workshop is open to all area dance students ages 6-18. Dancers ages 11-18 will meet 9-10am; ages 6-10 meet 10-11am.

The workshop is $50 per student.
