Nature Quest at the Schrader Center

Families can enjoy a self-guided nature quest (tour) along the habitat discovery trial outside the Schrader Center in Oglebay Park between 10am-4pm Tuesday through Sunday, June-August.

Being at the Schrader Center where you will receive a packet, guiding you to special stations and items along the trail. Complete your journey to claim a small token for your achievement.

All ages welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please wear appropriate shoes. No flip-flops or strollers.

$5 per family. Free to OI members or those with activity wristbands.

Replace your child’s screen time with green time! Our family nature programs bring families together for quality time learning about nature. So, get outside and explore! Activities ignite children’s interests in science and nature. Children socialize with other kids outside of a traditional classroom setting. They have a lot of fun, too. And parents meet and connect with other parents. Most of all, our programs instill a lifelong appreciation and respect for the natural world.
