Towngate Theatre
Oglebay Institute's award-winning Towngate Theatre has been producing live theater productions in Wheeling for over 35 years. Over 100,000 people have enjoyed the many performances on this community stage. The theater tours productions in regional schools and colleges, conducts a summer Parcel Players program for Ohio Valley high school and college students and encourages the continued writing of new plays through the Towngate Theatre National Playwriting Contest.
