Call for Proposals
Oglebay Institute's Stifel Fine Arts Center in Wheeling, WV is currently accepting proposals for art exhibitions to take place between 2010-2011. Artists and Artisans throughout WV and the tri state region, 18 years and older, are encouraged to respond. The Stifel Fine Arts Center presents individual, group, and theme exhibitions in all artistic media and genre. Proposals are subject to inclusion into group exhibitions. A review panel of Stifel staff professionals will decide which proposals are accepted for exhibition. Decisions are made based on the quality and appropriateness of the works. Please note in your proposal if there any special requirements or handling needed to present your work (i.e. if the work is very fragile, heavy, or requires display cases, pedestals, etc.)
DEADLINE: July 3rd, 2009
PROPOSALS MUST INCLUDE:
1. Current resume' or Vita
2. 6-10 images on cd or high quality photographs
3. Cover letter with project outline
4. Estimated number of works available for exhibition
5. Educational workshops, lectures, demonstrations or other programs you can present, if any, relating to the exhibition
