Oglebay Institute Announces Fall 2026 Classes:
A Season of Creativity, Movement & Discovery Begins September 13
We are gearing up for one of our biggest and most diverse fall seasons yet, and we are inviting community members of all ages to learn, create, perform, explore, and connect. With more than 150 classes and workshops across dance, visual arts, nature, pottery, theater, fitness, and glassmaking, Fall 2026 promises to be a celebration of imagination—and registration officially opens on August 5!

A Season for Every Artist, Explorer & Performer

This year’s lineup spans every corner of the arts and nature world:
- Dance: From Baby & Me and Tiny Toes to advanced ballet, hip hop, lyrical, clogging, ballroom, pointe, acrobatics, and pre‑professional training with master instructor Christopher Bandy.
- Performing Arts: Acting, directing, improv, puppetry, musical theatre, and private coaching at Towngate Theatre.
- Visual Arts: Oil painting, portrait painting, stained glass, woodcarving, ceramics, jewelry making, encaustics, gel plate printing, and dozens of hands‑on workshops.
- Pottery: Beginner to advanced wheel‑throwing, hand‑building, Raku firing, and open studio hours.
- Nature Programs: Campfire cooking, night hikes, Roots ’N Shoots, astronomy events, wreath‑making, cocoa & crafting, and seasonal family adventures at the Schrader Environmental Education Center.
- Glassmaking: One‑on‑one paperweight workshops with a professional glassblower at the Museums of Oglebay Institute.
With offerings for toddlers, teens, adults, families, and seniors, Oglebay Institute continues its mission of providing arts experiences for everyone.
