See the film that started the zombie horror genre!
Intelligent, crafty and terrifying, the 1968 cult classic “Night of the Living Dead” follows a group of people trapped in an isolated farmhouse by a hoard of flesh-eating zombies.
Zombies have infected popular culture in recent years, particularly in television and cinema. But it all started with the late, great George Romero and some really slow moving zombies on a farm in Pennsylvania.
Romero shot the film on a very low budget with a cast consisting primarily of semi-professional actors. The movie has been hailed as an artistic masterpiece in the nearly 50 years since its release.
