June 9-13, 2025 Wicked Dance Intensive- NEW!
Let’s “Dance Through Life” together at Oglebay Institute School of Dance in the “Wicked” Dance Intensive. Learn the values and storyline of the hit Broadway musical and movie while working on various styles of dance. Learn dances from the soundtrack to the styles of jazz, contemporary, tap, acrobatics and ballet. “Together, we’re unlimited!”

June 9-13, 2025: Disney Princess “Ballet Royal” Dance Camp Session 1
This summer favorite is sure to surprise and delight. Enjoy a week of princess training and instruction in the fundamentals and technique of ballet and acrobatics. Children may dress in their favorite princess character each day. Celebrate the joy of creative expression and movement that lead to plenty of Fairytale Happy Endings. No previous dance experience needed.

June 9-13, 2025: Pointe Camp I & II
Work on technique, strength, barre, and center.  Must have at least 3 years ballet experience.

June 16-20, 2025: Summer Dance & Vocal Intensive
Focused training in the disciplines of ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, modern, and vocal coaching from highly accomplished guest faculty to help prepare students for success in today’s diverse world of dance. There will be a showcase on Friday afternoon. Students must bring their own water bottle and yoga mat. Instructors TBA.

June 23-27, 2025: Broadway Musical Camp
Take a trip to the Great White Way and explore music and dances from some of your favorite Broadway musicals. Students will hold a performance at Stifel Fine Arts Center on Friday, June 27 at 1:30 pm.

June 24-25, 2025: Acting and Dance Through Song: Learn Audition Techniques

Join actor, musician, and theatrical producer Ryan McCurdy for a two-day workshop that will focus on strengthening each performer’s voice to bring greater tonal clarity and dynamic.

The concepts and methods taught throughout this course teach actors, singers, and dancers how to engage the lyrics of both musical theater and popular rep. Through specific repeatable techniques, both physical and mental, performers of all disciplines discover the core of a song by creating specificity and truth that keep the singer in the moment.

Workshop includes one day of one-on-one training with individual performers and one day of group instruction, which can include performances from the first day’s work or in-the-moment work using traditional and popular melodies. Students are required to bring a song with sheet music they wish to work on during the workshop.

More about the instructor: Ryan McCurdy is an actor-musician and theatrical producer with Broadway, Off-Broadway, and regional stage credits. He also has film and television experience and a background in both public and private education.

July 7-11, 2025: Peter Pan- The Musical- NEW!
Please join us in a free-spirited and adventurous summer musical camp: “Peter Pan”. Travel to the island of Neverland, where you will be cast as pirates, indians, lost boys, the Darling Family, Captain Hook, Peter Pan, and all his friends.
Students will hold a performance at Stifel Fine Arts Center on Friday, July 11 at 1:30pm.

July 7-11, 2025: Acrobatic Arts Candyland Cirque- NEW!
Each day will consist of proper progressions through the Acrobatic Arts training curriculum, working on acrobatic and contortion skills on the mat, as well as using exciting props. Learn to hold handstands on blocks, cartwheel over, and with hula hoops, and so much more. Each day will bring new and exciting ways to achieve and improve strength, cardio, flexibility, and skills, from rolls to handsprings, to cartwheels, to walkovers – all with dance transitions for beautiful, technically correct and safe tricks. How “Sweet” it is to flip and experience overall success. This camp is led by Acrobatic Arts Certified Instructor Kimberlee Kafana.

July 14-18, 2025: Technique Camp “Level Up”- NEW CAMP!
Take your dancing to the next level. This camp is designed to encourage the dancers to “train hard” and accomplish their goals to pick up choreography faster and implement better technique while doing it. Dancers will come away better prepared to transition from “summer dancers” into their classes for fall. Lower splits, higher jumps, cleaner turns, and improved strength and flexibility, as well as endurance and stamina. Quality Versus Quantity.

July 21-25, 2025: Nutcracker Camp
It’s Christmas in July with dancing flowers, flurries of snowflakes, beautiful fairies, and a legion of mice! Dancers will learn to bring this magical story to life in a July Christmas fantasy! Students will hold a performance at Stifel Fine Arts Center on Friday, July 25 at 1:30 pm.

July 24-25, 2025: Broadway Jazz Dance Workshop (Intermediate/Advanced)- NEW!
This two-day workshop is for all things jazz! Students will learn choreography inspired by iconic Broadway shows, focusing on stage presence, technique, and musicality. This workshop will help students develop both their technical abilities and their confidence on stage, preparing them for auditions and live performances. Instructor Molly Henthorne is a current Oklahoma City University Star Dance Company member, majoring in Dance. She is a graduate of OI Dance Company and Wheeling Park High School Park Players, as well as a National Thespian Society member.
