Event Details

Enjoy fall-inspired beers and delicious pizza from the popular eatery–The Wood Fired Pizza Company– at the Stifel Fine Arts Center’s September 20 Art & Ale craft beer tasting. Event begins at 6:30pm.  All food and drink is included in the ticket price!

The Wood Fired Pizza Co. is a traveling wood-fired oven bringing you the freshest and most delicious Neapolitan style pizza and fare you’ve ever tasted.

Beer selections include:

Saranac Hop Harvest Haze IPA
Soft, easy-drinking Hazy IPA brewed with citra, mosaic, and galaxy hops for a mix of tropical fruit, citrus and earthy dankness.

Saranac 1888 Octoberfest
Toasty, malty, Octobery. An authentic German-style lager passed down through four generations. One sip will send you straight to Munich.

Saranac Hopskeller
Crisp and refreshing unfiltered lager brewed with German Mandarina Bavaria and Saphir hops for flavors of floral-citrus, spice and orange.

Saranac Black Forest
This is a German-style Scharzbier, named for the original homeland of our founder, who emigrated from the Black Forest region.

Weyerbacher Imperial Pumpkin Ale
This 8.0% ABV pumpkin ale is the mother of all pumpkin ales. It is heartier, spicier and more caramelly and pumpkiny than its faint brethren! We have added lots of pumpkin along with cinnamon, nutmeg and a touch of cardamom and clove, giving this beer a spicy, full-bodied flavor.

Harpoon Octoberfest
A malty tribute to fall, balanced by a gentle hop bitterness.  In keeping with tradition, it is a Marzen-style beer, brewed with abundant quantities of Munich, chocolate and pale malts. Those malts provide a solid, full body and create the beer’s deep color.

This is an outdoor tasting (weather permitting). The Stifel Fine Arts Center’s Hart Galleries will be open with the Pittsburgh Illustrators Guild art exhibition on display to browse.
