As the days grow shorter and cooler, many birds are heading south. Join Schrader Center naturalists on the Driehorst Trail for a birdwatching hike. Learn about residential birds that will visit our feeders this winter. Also, you’ll learn about the migrants that are traveling through. Whether you are a novice or an experienced birder, you are invited to join. Binoculars and field guides provided. Meet at the pull-off at the intersection of Falls Drive and Warden Run Road.
Birdwatching hike begins at 10 a.m. Hike concludes around 11:30 a.m.
$6/$5 OI members. Register online or call 304-242-6855.
Other birdwatching hikes take place September 23 and October 21.
