Butterfly Hunt at the Schrader Center

Head out to the Corson Wildflower and Butterfly Garden at the Schrader Center in Oglebay to gently catch, study and release butterflies and other pollinating insects.

Available 1-2pm Mondays, June 3 through August 17. (Does not meet July 1.)
All ages welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please wear appropriate shoes. No flip-flops or strollers.

$5 per person. Free for OI members or those with activity wristbands.

Activities ignite children’s interests in science and nature. Children socialize with other kids outside of a traditional classroom setting. They have a lot of fun, too. And parents meet and connect with other parents. Most of all, our programs instill a lifelong appreciation and respect for the natural world.
