Decorative Arts à la Carte at Oglebay Institute’s Mansion Museum is an introduction to four popular American decorative styles from 1790-1926. Social history, lifestyles, furniture and the decorative arts will be highlighted. Participants will have the rare opportunity to go into the Mansion’s period rooms.
Decorative Arts à la Carte class schedule:
Federal Style (1790-1810) – 6:30-8pm Thursday, February 1
Empire Style (1810-1840) – 6:30-8pm Thursday, February 8
Victorian Style (1840-1900) – 6:30-8pm Thursday, February 15
How the Oglebay’s Lived (1901-1926) – 6:30-8pm Thursday, February 22
$15 ($12.75 OI members) per class. Mix ‘n match or attend all four sessions.
