Juneteenth Soul Food Cook-Off

Join us for the Ohio Valley’s first Juneteenth Soul Food Cook-Off as a part of the Juneteenth Festival for 2024! The event takes place at 6pm Sunday, June 16 at Towngate Theatre.

Help us judge 6 Soul Food Categories!

•Chicken
•Mac & Cheese
•Greens
•Potato Salad
•Sweets
•Cornbread

Admission to the event includes 6 tickets, one for each category. Sample each dish and vote for your favorite in each category. Following the event, you are invited to watch a film about soul food and its impact on America.

ENTRY TO THE EVENT IS $5—YWCA WHEELING IS THE BENEFICIARY

WANT TO ENTER THE COMPETITION?

•Enter as an individual, church, business, or group.
•Register by June 6
•Provide ingredient list for allergies.
•Bring your dish to Towngate Theatre by 5pm Sunday, June 16.
•Your dish will need to be divided into sample size portions at Towngate. Cups will be provided.
