ABOUT THE HONKY TONK SWEETHEARTS
Formed in 2012, the Honky Tonk Sweethearts are a powerhouse trio of female singers with a shared passion for classic country, honky tonk, and gospel music. Consisting of Laurie Labishak, Joylene Garrison, and Alice Rogers, the group has captivated audiences with their tight three-part harmonies and infectious energy.
Their performances combine the timeless sounds of legends like George Jones, Patsy Cline, Reba McEntire, Loretta Lynn, and Dolly Parton with their own unique flair, making every show a fresh take on classic favorites.
Each member brings a wealth of performance experience to the stage, having performed in venues ranging from intimate gatherings to large-scale theaters across the Eastern U.S. The Sweethearts are regulars at the historic Victoria Vaudeville Theatre in Wheeling, WV, and have staged memorable shows at the Capitol Music Hall as well as various festivals and fairs throughout the Tri-State area. Their upbeat shows often engage the crowd, with Laurie known for her lighthearted humor, Alice’s outgoing personality, and Joylene’s calm, steady presence—each contributing to the group’s undeniable chemistry.
While their voices blend in perfect harmony, it’s their shared belief that God brought them together to create something beautiful that makes their performances resonate deeply with audiences. The trio’s family-friendly entertainment style and joyful spirit shine through in every song, from classic country ballads to lively honky tonk tunes and heartfelt gospel numbers.
Though their journey has included a memorable audition for America’s Got Talent—where they received a callback—they have continued to find success with local collaborations, including opening for acts like Shenandoah and working with various bands across the Ohio Valley. Whether they’re sharing their love for music or making the crowd laugh, the Honky Tonk Sweethearts are dedicated to delivering unforgettable performances every time they take the stage.
