Event Details
The most wicked Halloween party in Wheeling–the Shadows Ball– takes place from 7pm-midnight Saturday, October 19 at the historic Stifel Mansion in Wheeling. Enjoy a night of thrills, chills, sideshow, burlesque, costumes and rock-n-roll.
Sideshow & Burlesque
Back by popular demand, Pittsburgh’s Kabarett Vulgare returns to entertain guests with a variety of sideshow and burlesque acts. Harkening back to the days of the classic ten-in-one sideshow and served up with all the decadence of a Weimar era cabaret, Kabarett Vulgare takes the best of both worlds and delivers a night of performance not soon to be forgotten.
Psychedelic Rock
The ever-blossoming, Pittsburgh-based psychedelic jam/funk/rock band HABATAT will perform throughout the evening and the dance floor will be open.
HABATAT has made positive strides in the Pittsburgh suburbs sharing stages with the likes of “Twiddle,” the “Heavy Pets,” “Pigeons Playing Ping Pong” and “Zach Deputy.” Combining gritty sultry vocals by Ryan Woods, colorful funky bass riffs from Kris Lupher, soulful solos from Cory “Gweedo” Mickinak, powerful dance/funk grooves by J. Banks and provocative horns from Josh Covert, this group leaves audiences floored with their energetic live performance.
Eerie Puppets & SFX Creature Creations
This year’s Shadows Ball entertainment lineup also includes an eerie puppet show –“The Circus Macabre”– created by local actor, artist and playwright Zachary Michael.
Guests will also view lifelike SFX creature creations from Bixby Studios, a Morgantown-based creative production company that specializes in building props for the haunt industry.
Costume Contest
A judged costume competition with prizes add to the fun of this unique party in one of Wheeling’s grand and historic mansions.

Tickets are $35 per person and include an array of foods & two drink tickets. VIP tickets are available for $45 and include reserved seating for sideshows and puppet shows.
