Shows take place May 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 2025. Curtain is at 8pm Fridays and Saturdays. A 3pm matinee takes place Sunday, May 4.

About the Play

“The Marriage of Bette and Boo” is a dark comedy that explores the complex marriage of Bette and Boo and their dysfunctional nuclear families. Matt, the son, is trying to make sense of the absolutely zany world in which he was raised, a world of blathering priests, stillborn babies, and disastrous family holidays.

Through inventive interconnected scenes, the play moves wickedly on through three decades of marriage, divorce, alcoholism, nervous breakdowns, and death—all blended in a dazzling mix of irony, humor, and farce.
