Audra Lynn Clayton has been named Artist in Residence at the Stifel Fine Arts Center. A ceramic artist, Clayton creates sculptural works inspired by the relationship between people and place. During her spring residency, she will develop new work and engage the community through open studios and workshops.
Workshop Information
Clay Lanterns-
May 30th, 10:30 am-1 pm

2.5-hour workshop, $50 (non-members)/$45 (OI Members)
Explore the age-old “broomstick” method, and hand-build a cylindrical vessel that’s sure to spark your creativity and illuminate your inner artist. In this workshop, participants will create a clay cylinder and add various holes throughout the clay to allow the beautiful glow of candlelight to shine from within. No clay experience needed. June 2nd, 6-8:30 pm

Carve your way through this new workshop to create a small drinking vessel, great for tea or whiskey! In this workshop, participants will dive into the process of clay carving.
