Collecting During COIVD Exhibition

Collecting During COVID at the Mansion Museum in Oglebay features objects and shares fascinating stories that represent the largely unseen work taking place at the Museums of Oglebay Institute throughout the pandemic.

For museums around the globe, closure due to COVID-19 meant a dramatic decrease in visitors, tours, public programs and revenue. During this time the Museums of Oglebay Institute remained active by maintaining the current collections, performing preservation work, acquiring new objects and accessioning – the process of creating a permanent records for an objects.

The Museums of Oglebay Institute are open daily, 10am-5pm.

Admission is $15 for both museums (Mansion and Glass Museum) and $10 for a single museum. Children 17 and under, accompanied by an adult, are free.
