Saturday Morning Bird Walk at the Schrader Center

Start your weekend with a relaxing Saturday morning bird walk along the trials of Oglebay. A Schrader Center naturalist will be your guide as we learn to identify local birds by song and sight during their most active hours. Binoculars provided.

Available 7-8am Saturday June 8, June 15, June 29, July 13, July 20 July 27, August 3 and August 10. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please wear appropriate shoes. No flip-flops or strollers.

$5 per person. Free for OI members or those with activity wristbands.

Replace your child’s screen time with green time! Our family nature programs bring families together for quality time learning about nature. So, get outside and explore! Activities ignite children’s interests in science and nature. Children socialize with other kids outside of a traditional classroom setting. They have a lot of fun, too. And parents meet and connect with other parents. Most of all, our programs instill a lifelong appreciation and respect for the natural world.
