Summer Dance & Vocal Intensive

Oglebay Institute’s School of Dance in Wheeling, West Virginia invites aspiring dancers ages 6-21 to study with master instructors during our Summer Dance & Vocal Intensive June 21-25.

This intensive provides professional, focused training in the disciplines of Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Modern and vocal coaching from highly accomplished guest faculty to help prepare students for success in today’s diverse world of dance. 

Students will stretch their talents, strengthen their knowledge of various dance forms and broaden their understanding of what it means to be a dancer with insight into the world of professional dance.

$350 per student. (Students should bring a bag lunch daily.)

Our instructors:

• Michael Greer – Professional dancer & instructor with a BFA in musical theater and more than 25 production credits with Pittsburgh CLO
• Mara Newbery Greer – Performer director, choreographer and teacher who has performed on Broadway, in London as well as the Pittsburgh Public Theater and Pittsburgh CLO
• Kimberlee Kafana – Resident OI School of Dance instructor specializing in strength & conditioning training; USA Gymnastics certified
• Kalista J’lyse Kafana – OI School of Dance alum and scholarship student at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater
• Bill Stephens – Vocal coach, band and choir director at Buckeye Local High School, Ohio
