About the Movie

Director Tim Burton’s weird and wonderful world is brought to life by an all-star cast including Michael Keaton as the ghoulish demon, Alec Baldwin, Geena Davis and Wynona Ryder.

The PG-rated comedy-horror film tells the story of recently departed newlyweds, who find themselves seeking the help of an unhinged spirit in their efforts to scare off the family living in their former house. Though he is a talented spook, Beetlejuice proves a bit hard to handle for the new ghosts and the new residents.

Released in 1988, Beetlejuice was a critical and commercial success and established Keaton as a major star. It remains a cult classic and is especially popular around Halloween.
